Responsibilities
Establish and evolve a visionary strategy to broaden, diversify, and enhance ACE's core audiences and their participation both in the U.S. and internationally
Identify and utilize innovative channels and methods to optimize outreach and engagement effectiveness across all initiatives
Research and refine key strategies using a data-driven, iterative approach to maximize results
Continuously develop innovative methods to effectively use the marketing resources at ACE, focusing on building support for clean energy among rural, non-progressive demographics, youth, and through cutting-edge digital strategies
Proactively monitor trends in both the external and internal environments, planning strategically to swiftly and effectively adapt and advance the transition to clean energy
Assist core team members in enhancing ACE's brand visibility through a combination of organic, earned, and paid media tactics
Develop and implement innovative strategies to engage unconventional audiences, conveying the critical need for immediate climate action and proactively countering misinformation
Forge a forward-looking plan to elevate our digital marketing initiatives to unprecedented levels across new platforms starting in 2025, with an annual budget exceeding $7 million
Manage the development, experimentation, and fine-tuning of digital marketing campaigns to achieve specified objectives and performance benchmarks
Design, architect and maintain the team's digital marketing tools, data system and platforms. When making decisions, consider upstream and downstream impacts to all systems
Provide leadership and manage a fast startup digital marketing team that includes teams for: Influencer marketing, Performance marketing, Data Systems, Web and UX
Join the Executive Leadership Team at ACE to collaboratively define the organization’s strategic direction alongside the Executive Director and Board of Directors
Manage all aspects of the marketing, digital tools and technology, and communications budgets and spending
Frequently engage with ACE’s funders, major donors, board members, and other key stakeholders to foster the organization's growth and enhance funding opportunities
Ensure cross-departmental application of marketing tools to help grow our persuasion power and list growth, convert our Youth Action Network into socio-political power to speed up the energy transition at scale

Required
At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing or digital organizing, with a proven track record of managing both organic and paid social media campaigns
Expertise in developing, overseeing, and assessing advertising campaigns using Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, Google Ads, and programmatic and OOH (Out-of-Home) advertising
Strong expertise in influencer marketing and marketing across cultures
Strong analytical abilities, capable of setting priorities, completing tasks independently, and adhering to deadlines
Advanced data analysis skills, including expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, familiarity with SQL, and an openness to emerging technology trends
Proficiency with Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, and various event tracking tools to optimize marketing efforts
Independent and motivated self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and a creative approach to problem-solving
Deep understanding of issues important to youth, such as climate change and climate justice, coupled with a commitment to engaging and empowering young people to take action
