Responsibilities
Recruit, train, mentor, motivate, and ensure the success of our sales team.
Set individual sales targets with team members and ensure attainment of them.
Facilitate career growth in a team of sales associates, including performance reviews, goal-setting, and regular 1:1’s.
Identify opportunities for enhanced sales performance by implementing strategies to close performance gaps (tools, training, etc.) and to retain, reward, motivate, and accelerate outperformers.
Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
Identify new market opportunities and implement plans to penetrate them.
Analyze sales trends and refine strategies and tactics in ways that improve performance.
Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Conduct sales forecasts, develop action plans to address sales gaps, and manage sales budgets to ensure predictable revenue growth.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system, to improve sales outcomes.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to improve sales outcomes.
Communicate market feedback and trends to internal teams to improve products and services.

Required
8+ years of sales experience, preferably in Small Business software sales or the payments industry
5+ years of sales management experience
Proven ability to manage yourself and your teams to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, business strategy, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Superior interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and sales strategies.
