Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to engage and manage relationships with LPs, angel investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
Lead fundraising initiatives, including preparing pitch materials, hosting investor meetings, and communicating key performance metrics and fund updates.
Maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and potential investors by providing consistent updates, insights into fund performance, and addressing any queries.
Act as the primary point of contact for all investor communications, including quarterly reports, annual meetings, and ad-hoc requests.
Build and expand the network of investors to support current and future funds, syndicates, or special purpose vehicles (SPVs).
Develop investor outreach and engagement strategies to ensure optimal participation in funding rounds.
Collaborate with internal teams, including fund managers and legal, to ensure compliance with regulations, provide transparency, and enhance investor experiences.
Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and in meetings with high-profile investors to expand the firm’s visibility and attract capital.

Required
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in investor relations within the venture capital, private equity, or angel investing space.
Extensive network of LPs, angel investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.
Proven track record of fundraising for venture capital funds, syndicates, or angel groups.
Strong understanding of the venture capital landscape, financial markets, and the fundraising process for early-stage companies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a strategic mindset.
Ability to manage multiple investor relationships and fundraising initiatives simultaneously.
Detail-oriented and capable of preparing and presenting complex financial reports and performance metrics.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Preferred
Previous experience leading investor relations for a venture capital fund or large syndicate.
Experience in structuring SPVs and managing co-investment opportunities.
