Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to engage and secure partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, focusing on mutual growth and innovation.
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within the pharmaceutical industry, effectively positioning Best Buy Health's offerings and capabilities
Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of strategic opportunities for collaboration and partnerships within the pharmaceutical sector.
Drive negotiations and finalize agreements with pharmaceutical partners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities in drug discovery.
Utilize clinical expertise to evaluate potential pharmaceutical partnerships, assess product fit, and identify opportunities for therapeutic alignment.
Collaborate with internal teams to assess the clinical utility and value proposition of potential partnerships.
Work closely with clients deploying clinical trials to ensure seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with clients to leverage technology and data analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical trials.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, gather competitive intelligence, and monitor industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
Represent Best Buy Health at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility, identify opportunities, and build relationships within the pharmaceutical community.
Working with cross functional commercial teams to support achieving each other’s growth targets.

Required

5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategy, and partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
7 years demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships and collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
Experience collaborating with digital teams deploying clinical trials, with a focus on integrating digital trial strategies into pharmaceutical partnerships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives in the pharmaceutical sector.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive results, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

5+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategy, and partnerships within the pharmaceutical industry.
8+ years demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships and collaborations with pharmaceutical companies.
Clinical background (MD, RN, NP) with a strong understanding of medical and therapeutic areas, enabling effective evaluation of pharmaceutical partnerships and technology fit of our solutions, advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field preferred.
