Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Address and resolve technical issues related to health plan services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and quick turnaround times.
Ensure the technical team delivers high-quality services that meet the needs and expectations of our clients and stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvements and corrective actions as needed to maintain service standards.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on issues and resolutions.
Ensure all technical operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, issue resolution, and service delivery metrics.

Required

Have a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, or the equivalent in related work experience.
Have at least 5 years of experience leading a team in technical management, preferably in the health plan services industry.
Have working experience within the healthcare space. This is required to be considered for the role.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a technical team effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving technical issues swiftly.
Have strong client engagement/interaction skills.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels (verbal/written).
Have detailed knowledge of product and project management lifecycles.
Have HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and Availity product knowledge.

Preferred

Proven track record leading high performing team and possess a strong innovative mindset.
Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Splunk.
Familiarity with AWS.
Proficient in relevant technical tools and software, with a solid understanding of health plan services.
Worked in a performance based, metrics driven environment.
Possess extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, specifically healthcare transaction experience.
If you have working knowledge of the product development lifecycle as well as HIPAA knowledge.
