Responsibilities

Conduct phone verification interviews on all inbound and outbound calls for Medicare Supplement insurance applications.

Perform prescription drug checks during phone verification interviews.

Process completed interviews and forward them for underwriting review.

Review, index, and process applications into the appropriate workflow.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Supplement products and application procedures.

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required.

High-speed internet and a dedicated, uninterrupted workspace.

Ability to type at least 55 words per minute.

Intermediate proficiency with PC-based software.

Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and medical professionals.

Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology.

Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Comfortable working with computerized systems for data entry and information retrieval.

Call center: 1 year (Required)

Customer service: 1 year (Required)

Healthcare management: 2 years (Required)

Preferred

2-3 years of phone-based customer service experience preferred.

Remote work experience is highly valued.

1-3 years of experience in the medical or healthcare field, including familiarity with medical/healthcare terminology.

Experience working with the retired and 65+ population is preferred.

Multilingual abilities are a plus.
