Responsibilities

Map and translate data fields between eClinicalWorks (ECW) and Epic EHR systems.
Identify, define, and document data mappings for patient information, clinical data, and other healthcare-related data.
Work closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure accurate data translation and integration between systems.
Write and optimize SQL queries in SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from ECW and Epic.
Perform data quality checks and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and completeness across systems.
Develop reports and dashboards to support operational and clinical needs.
Serve as a liaison between clinical, IT, and data management teams, ensuring alignment on data requirements and integration strategies.
Provide technical support and guidance for data-related questions, assisting end-users with data extraction and reporting needs.
Participate in meetings and discussions to support data governance, security, and compliance within the healthcare environment.
Document all data mapping procedures, field definitions, and integration workflows.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing data workflows, improving system interoperability, and reducing manual data entry.
Assist with the development and implementation of data migration strategies for system upgrades and new system implementations.

Required

Related Bachelor's Degree, or in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant work experience. A combination of education, certification, or relevant work experience may be considered.
One or more years of hands-on experience with statistical and inferential analytics.
One or more years of experience with analysis tools such as SQL, R, Tableau, etc.
Familiarity with EHR systems, preferably OCHIN Epic or eClinicalWorks.
Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams as demonstrated by previous experience.

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred.
Familiarity with UDS, PCMH, MU, MIPS, HEDIS, OSHPD or similar programs.
Experience with Python.
Sound knowledge of ETL frameworks, data management systems and data warehousing.
Experience working in a non-profit healthcare setting desirable, FQHC preferred.
