Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve semi-complex technical issues for desktops, laptops, virtual machines, mobile devices, and network-related systems.
Support healthcare IT systems, including integrated medical devices, VPNs, Epic EMR, and multifactor authentication tools.
Assist with identifying and escalating hardware/software issues to maintain system stability.
Clearly communicate solutions to end users in non-technical terms via phone, chat, or email.
Maintain current knowledge of IT processes, contribute to documentation, and train Service Desk Associates as needed.
Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure and adhere to organizational guidelines for security, timeliness, and professionalism.

Candidates must live in Michigan
US Citizen or Green Card Holder only
5+ years’ recent Help Desk/Service Desk experience, preferably in a healthcare organization
Provide technical support for various technologies, including hardware, software, medical devices, and remote access systems
Troubleshoot and resolve semi-complex technical issues for desktops, laptops, virtual machines, mobile devices, and network-related systems
Support healthcare IT systems, including integrated medical devices, VPNs, Epic EMR, and multifactor authentication tools
Assist with identifying and escalating hardware/software issues to maintain system stability
Clearly communicate solutions to end users in non-technical terms via phone, chat, or email
Maintain current knowledge of IT processes, contribute to documentation, and train Service Desk Associates as needed
Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure and adhere to organizational guidelines for security, timeliness, and professionalism
Strong background in customer service with IT troubleshooting experience
Hands-on experience with Epic EMR, Microsoft Office Suite, VPNs, SharePoint, Citrix, and multifactor authentication tools (e.g., Duo)
Experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills
High technical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational abilities
Team player mindset with adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Experience in healthcare environments
Some college, vocational training, or IT industry certifications
IT Service Management certification (ITSM/ITIL/HDI)
