Responsibilities
Coordinate strategic growth plan with office leader, regional manager, and practice leaders
Establish and grow market presence through marketing and business development activities
Manage financial budget for the department and allocate resources accordingly
Lead and contribute to the production of proposals
Serve as a technical expertise resource to project engineers and technical staff
Manage roadway projects
Establish resource staffing needs for the section; Interview and hire staff for the section
Perform performance reviews for staff based on input from project managers on assigned teams
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
Professional Engineer License
15+ years’ experience in specialized discipline
Project management and business development experience
Proven VDOT PM experience and the ability to win work with a variety of clients
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience working with local clients at the county and state level
Project management and business development experience
Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Supervisory experience
