Responsibilities

Keeps safety as #1 priority.
Perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of the building, lighting, HVAC, and water treatment systems including any emergency repairs as required.
Conduct inspections, projects, and maintenance repairs, maintain records.
Ensures compliance with internal maintenance, safety, and security procedures by following established codes and guidelines.
Operates simple machine tools and recognizes equipment that needs repair, replacing, or adjusting.
Keeps tools, machines, and all other company equipment in clean and proper working order.
Attends training, courses, and seminars to stay updated on technical information and products.
Acts as a liaison with fellow maintenance MCs and other departments.
Follows company policies and procedures, assists other departments, and performs any other duties as requested.
Ensures compliance with maintenance, safety, and security procedures.
Understands risk assessments, ensures safe working procedures, and reports incidents or accidents in a timely manner.

Required

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
Considerable knowledge of the practices, tools, and equipment used to troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems, lighting, carpentry, plumbing, drywall and painting, flooring and tile work is required.
Requires a demonstrated flexibility to handle a wide range of highly complex and challenging duties with extreme care, focused attention and skillful precision.
Must be able to react under pressure or in an emergency in a calm and rational manner.
Requires the ability to use a full range of measuring devices and power tools.
Basic math skills are required.
Ability to read and evaluate reports and correspondence.
A friendly, polite, guest service-oriented demeanor is required.
Demonstrated ability to follow facility management team directions effectively and observe and remember details.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have a positive attitude and a love for FUN!
SDS knowledge and OSHA training.
Be able to work any day or hours as the hotel is a 24 hour, 365-day operation.

Preferred

Ability to read blueprints and schematics a plus.
