Responsibilities
Administer onboarding processes within HR, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency across all activities.
Develop expertise as a subject matter expert in onboarding, offering reliable guidance on best practices and supporting the resolution of escalated onboarding issues.
Utilize data insights and trends to optimize onboarding processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Manage all onboarding and offboarding tasks in Workday, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Act as the primary contact for new hires, providing support throughout their early days at Hummingbird.
Facilitate new hire orientation sessions, coordinating with presenters and ensuring all materials are prepared and up-to-date.
Act as the primary contact during orientation, addressing questions and concerns to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive introduction to company culture, policies, and procedures.
Continuously improve the orientation experience based on feedback, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for new employees.
Support the development and implementation of onboarding policies and processes to promote a consistent and reliable work environment.
Create job aids and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility in onboarding practices, enhancing the employee experience.
Identify and recommend improvements within the onboarding function to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and better support employee needs.
Collaborate with the Employee Engagement and Onboarding Lead to improve onboarding functions in Workday, focusing on automation and process efficiency.
Manage escalated onboarding inquiries and complex cases promptly, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
Maintain compliance with internal and external regulations, supporting best practices and fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
Assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews as needed, contributing to an environment of integrity and transparency.
Ensure accurate processing and storage of employment-related forms and records to support policy adherence.
Engage in cross-training with other HR functions to enhance team flexibility and build a cohesive team environment.
Collaborate with HR Shared Services and other departments to address cross-functional inquiries and provide consistent information to new hires.
Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices to support continuous learning across the onboarding function.
Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required
2+ years of experience in onboarding, HR administration, or a similar role.
Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements relevant to onboarding, supporting ethical and fair practices.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective resolution of escalated inquiries and continuous improvement.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and build supportive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred
Familiarity with onboarding workflows and administration in Workday.
Experience contributing to policy development and process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
