Responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user needs to create solutions that support talent and learning functions.
Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and work as a liaison between HR and business users across the University.
Lead segments of larger projects, developing system test plans, and contributing to process improvements.
Collaborate closely with HR clients and other stakeholders across the University to ensure smooth communication and implement system enhancements, maintaining the stability and integrity of HR technology solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and effective operation of Workday Recruiting, Talent, Learning, and Skills applications within the broader Total Talent ecosystem.
Partner with business stakeholders to optimize configuration, enhance functionalities, and manage recurring projects within Workday's Recruiting, Talent, Learning, and Skills modules.
Stay informed about upcoming enhancements by reviewing product roadmaps within Workday and other Total Talent applications. Translate these enhancements into actionable recommendations and oversee their successful implementation.
Work with external vendors and contractors to address technical challenges, including interfaces, customizations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
Conduct impact analysis for proposed system changes and assess the effects on processes, data flow, and integrations across the organization.
Support integration efforts between HR systems and other enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system functionality.
Stay informed on industry landscape and trends relevant to Total Talent areas and associated touchpoints. Leverage this knowledge to ensure system configurations and business solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Expertise in this area will help anticipate industry shifts, recommend proactive system enhancements, and support the University in maintaining its competitive edge.
Leverage AI-driven analytics and insights to optimize HR processes, enhance decision-making, and predict future trends in talent management and skills development.
Perform a diverse range of analytical duties in the development of technology solutions for business processes.
Plan, organize, and define requirements, methods, and end user objectives, coordinate effort with team members, other IT staff, users, and vendors.
Interview, analyze, and document end-user processes and systems requirements for enhancement and/or workflow improvements or new system development.
Develop and execute system test plans to ensure application performance aligns to specifications.
Prepare technical reports, design workflow maps or other documents to facilitate system/s understanding.
May lead segments of larger projects, develop trainings, presentations, and communications.

Required

Bachelor's Degree and four years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
Expertise in business analysis and functional solution design, with a strong ability to develop detailed requirements documentation.
Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Proven experience in leading and facilitating meetings, including agenda preparation and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Familiarity with AI applications in HRIS, with a focus on how AI can drive efficiencies, predict trends, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Advanced configuration experience with Workday including: Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Learning and Skills.
Knowledge of other cross-application modules such as HCM, Benefits, Time and Absence, Advanced Compensation, Reporting, Security and Integrations.
Proficiency in Talent Acquisition suites or similar HR technology and their integration with other platforms, including reporting and analytics components.

Preferred

Relevant certifications in HR technology, Talent Acquisition suites, or project management would be considered a strong asset.
