Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the commissioning of HRSG units from startup through performance testing.
Develop commissioning procedures and test protocols for HRSG systems.
Conduct inspections and functional testing of equipment to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HRSG systems during commissioning.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams post-commissioning.
Document commissioning activities, including test results, observations, and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the commissioning process.
Train client personnel in the operation and maintenance of HRSG systems as requested.

Required
Proven experience in commissioning HRSG units or similar power generation systems.
Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to HRSG design and operation (e.g., ASME, API, NEC).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10+ years experience in an HRSG Engineering role
5+ years of Commissioning experience
10+ years experience in the power generation industry.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, not required
Prior working and/or commissioning experience with GE 7F.04 gas turbines.
