Responsibilities
Support the benefits enrollment and management process, including employee inquiries, open enrollment, and vendor communication
Track and manage employee leaves of absence, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with retention requirements
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across multiple states, including workplace postings and policy updates
Coordinate and monitor the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping
Provide administrative assistance to the CEO, including scheduling, communications, and other administrative tasks as needed
Assign, track, and document completion of compliance training courses, ensuring all employees fulfill training requirements
Verify employment eligibility by completing and maintaining I-9 forms for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. Assist with auditing and corrections
Manage the distribution and updating of electronic workplace posters to meet compliance standards

Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administrative roles, including benefits administration, leave management, and payroll administration
Experience supporting multi-state employer(s)
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Excellent attention to detail, with a process-oriented approach
Technologically proficient, with experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Candidates must have a private, professional home office equipped with necessary technology (e.g., computer, webcam, high-speed internet) and a quiet space for confidential work, including virtual meetings
Preferred
ClickUp experience preferred
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred
