Responsibilities
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring a welcoming start for all employees.
Assist with the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job titles, benefit enrollments, and employment status changes in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
Ensure all employee data is accurate, up-to-date, and managed in compliance with confidentiality policies.
Prepare reports and provide data to support HR analytics and decision-making.
Support benefits administration by handling employee inquiries, assisting with enrollments, and coordinating with benefit providers as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related inquiries.
Partner with the Finance Team to register for and maintain state and local employer tax accounts.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by keeping records accurate and assisting with audits as needed.

Support HR in reviewing and updating company policies, employee handbooks, and procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.
Help plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and other HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Perform other related duties as required to support HR and organizational goals.

Required
1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles; experience in HR within the hospitality or service industry is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Familiarity with HRIS or other HR software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Team player with a positive attitude and customer-service mindset.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
