Responsibilities
Overseeing programs and projects providing guidance and recommendations that support the strategic objectives of Human Capital.
Advising management, servicing CPOs, SPAs, HRAs and employees on technical processes ensuring that legal regulatory provisions, requirements and processes are met.
Contributing to the HR digital transformation to continuously strive to improve the HR processes to provide data-driven insights using multiple personnel data platforms (DCPDS, CHRIS, BI etc.).
Performing broad, complex studies of AFRL workforce HC programs include Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project authorities and flexibility, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and usage.
Analyzing, managing, and administering processes, for the purpose of changing or proposing personnel initiatives across the Laboratory to achieve an effective, efficient organizational posture.
Reviewing various personnel requests and packages ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory provisions prior to Senior Leader coordination and approval.
Developing and delivering oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information.

Required
United States Citizenship
Males must be registered for Select Service, see www.sss.gov.
Must be able to meet the occupational series requirements for the 201 Series: Human Resources Management Series 0201 (opm.gov)
Must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level -- DO/DR-I, GS-11, NH-II, etc. -- in the Federal system
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
Relevant Department of the Air Force (DAF) Classification and Staffing related knowledge/experiences
Experience with Human Resources process automation using standard DAF systems
Experience working in DAF Human Resources data systems (e.g., DCPDS, CHRIS, Business Objects, etc.)
Knowledge of AFRL's Lab Demo personnel system(s)
