Responsibilities
Leads project teams to successful completion of quality deliverables
Manages quality, budget, and schedule of responsible projects
Engages with all aspects of project proposals & participates in client interviews
Generates sufficient business to sustain and grow responsible group
Effectively communicates (verbal and written) successful strategies and technical solutions to staff, clients, and sub-consultants
Achieves financial success & utilization targets
Performs the necessary functions and tasks to manage direct reports effectively
Performs quality control measures and audit quality control measures for project work

Required
8 - 10 + years progressive experience & responsibilities in design, delivery, and coordination of civil engineering projects with an emphasis in Hydraulics & Hydrology
BS/ MS in civil engineering and California PE license
Technical understanding of hydrology and hydraulics and proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Bentley products, ArcGIS, XPSWMM, AutoCAD Civil3D
Advanced understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling programs
Solid understanding of surface water hydrology and collection system hydraulics
Proficient in scour calculations and rock slope protection
Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Project
Knowledge of overall project management and project deliverable processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of project financials and metrics
Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal drainage requirements and procedures
Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on hydrology and hydraulics projects
Preferred
A diverse Water Resources background is preferred
Knowledge of & experience with CALTRANS a plus; knowledge of Location Hydraulic Study (LHS)
