Responsibilities

Performs limited repetitive dimensional and electrical inspection using basic equipment and established procedures with minimum supervision of a higher inspector or supervisor.
Needs to have mechanical aptitude with an ability to execute good record-keeping practices as a major part of the duties.
Must be detail-oriented and adept at accuracy.
Must be flexible and able to work with a variety of different people and in different areas depending on business needs.
Interprets drawings and written work instructions.
Uses a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment like calipers and micrometers.
Schedules, plans, and executes assigned or delegated tasks efficiently.
Prioritizes workload to minimize or eliminate production delays.
Ability to interface directly with customer representatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must possess basic mathematical abilities, be computer literate, and comfortable using different applications.
If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements (i.e., JSTD).

Required

Ability to perform limited visual, mechanical and electrical inspection functions in manufacturing areas under minimum supervision
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to execute good record-keeping practices
Detail-oriented and adept at accuracy
Flexible and able to work with a variety of different people and in different areas depending on business need
Interpret drawings and written work instructions
Ability to use a variety of precision measuring instruments including electrical test equipment like calipers and micrometers
Prioritize workload to minimize or eliminate production delays
Ability to interface directly with customer representatives
Possess basic mathematical abilities and be computer literate
