Responsibilities

Lead foreign aspects of DoorDash’s global annual and interim consolidated income tax reporting, including income tax provisions under US GAAP ASC 740, tax account reconciliations, RTPs, and FIN48.

Assist with the statutory income tax provisions.

Monitor, analyze and consult with outside service providers on tax regulatory developments, tax law changes and other authoritative guidance and document the related tax accounting impact.

Develop and implement process improvements, utilizing technology where appropriate, over all aspects of the tax calculation process;

Develop proficient understanding of DoorDash businesses and internal financial systems and tools.

Assist with ad hoc requests and projects as necessary.

Required

6+ years of experience in a corporate tax role with responsibilities for tax provision (ASC 740), tax compliance, and tax audit, with the ideal candidate having Big 4 experience and/or technology industry.

Familiarity with US tax implications of foreign operations.

Demonstrated meticulous strong attention to detail and analytical, organizational, project-management and problem-solving skills.

BA/BS Degree in Accountancy, or a similar field of study.

Proficient with MS Excel, tax and accounting research tools, enterprise/general ledger systems, and tax provision applications.

Ability to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to drive results, even if it's outside your normal areas of focus.
