Responsibilities

Develop labor standards, gain acceptance, and implement standards in collaboration with management

Document elemental breakdown of job tasks for standard operating procedures and training purposes

Conduct work measurement to determine task times

Oversee local labor management system including maintenance, reporting, and training

Analyze processes to identify productivity barriers and recommend solutions

Lead and support key initiatives for productivity, quality, and safety improvements

Manage projects to drive productivity, throughput, and quality standards

Required

Thorough knowledge or work measurement disciplines to include time study, methods time measurement, master standard data, etc.

Thorough knowledge or labor management systems and tracking

Lead change management processes with ability to translate recommendations into clear and precise functional requirements

Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills

Perform advanced analysis including process mapping, simulation, statistical modeling, and process re-engineering

Knowledge of distribution processes and process improvement methodologies (lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Strong influencing skills with internal stakeholders

Ability to handle confrontational situation in a mature and professional manner

Proficiency in Microsoft excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational and project management skills

Strong communication skills within all tiers of the organization

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required

At least 3-5 years of warehouse experience required

Preferred

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

Ability to travel up to 50%
