Responsibilities

Maintain and update master data in the ERP system, Microsoft Excel, and capacity models to support production.

Perform production planning and supporting activities.

Improve the planning process and collaborate with global supply chain, quality, planners, and buyers in sister plants.

Lead manufacturing cycle time reduction projects for assigned production areas.

Implement and support projects to enhance operational efficiency and achieve corporate objectives such as on-time delivery, productivity, and scrap reduction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify problems, analyze information, and develop and implement process solutions.

Conduct time studies on critical (bottleneck) processes and build capacity models for assigned areas.

Support long-range capacity planning activities.

Create Value Stream Maps to enhance material, process, and communication flows.

Support the implementation of lean manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, standard work, problem-solving, value stream mapping, training, and employee involvement.

Work with data to determine optimum inventory levels.

Support and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for operations.

Work with the CI team to identify and participate in Kaizen events.

Required

Minimally a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related technical discipline; master’s degree a plus.

Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

Proficiency in time and motion studies; capacity modelling strongly preferred.

Experience in implementing Lean systems at the plant level (e.g. 6S, Kaizen events, line balancing, Kanban systems, and Value Stream Mapping)

Experience with ERP system (SAP) is a plus.

Ability to lead teams and implement projects through continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean or Six Sigma (DMAIC) with hands-on application.
