Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications, and layout updates using AUTOCAD software
Place and follow up purchase orders for new tooling and equipment to produce drawings
Check design drawings to verify they're accurate and meet industry standards
Coordinate multidisciplinary project reviews between departments and other stakeholders
Create and follow up problem follow-up sheets to monitor and guide the completion of activities

Required
Extensive working knowledge of AUTOCAD software, 2D AND 3d, to be able to prepare technical drawings efficiently
Ability to analyze design sketches and specifications to create technical drawings
Strong attention to detail to ensure drawings are accurate according to specifications
Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally with architects, engineers, and other professionals
Time management skills to work with multiple projects and competing deadlines
Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards
Advanced mathematical skills
Ability to perform physical measurements to create layouts
Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to be able to support prototype pilot build constructions
Availability to work OT and/or weekends as required per project deliverables
Knowledge of Microsoft Office to perform analysis and prepare executive presentations
Preferred
Previous manufacturing Automotive or Truck Industry Experience
Bilingual English / Spanish
