Responsibilities

Design and modify work centers to minimize material movement and enhance overall productivity.

Develop and implement improved material handling and dispensing methods to lower labor demands and reduce poor body mechanics.

Apply time and motion study tools to determine staffing needs and balance workloads across all positions within a work cell.

Establish standard operating procedures for each operator position by SKU or product family, ensuring documentation is easy to train to a diverse production team.

Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to create automation solutions.

Identify and adopt standard ergonomic assessment tools to enhance workstation design and minimize injury risk.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product structure, including bills of material and manufacturing routings.
