Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for healthcare data initiatives involving Informatica tools, ensuring projects meet defined goals, scope, and budget.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Establish and maintain project timelines, monitor project performance, and drive timely project completion.
Serve as the primary liaison between data engineering teams and healthcare stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with data and IT teams to integrate Informatica solutions with healthcare systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
Engage with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure regulatory compliance with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in data integration, ETL processes, and data governance.
Oversee data mapping, data quality, and data transformation efforts using Informatica tools.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, especially in relation to healthcare compliance and data security.
Drive Agile practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to improve team efficiency.
Utilize project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to track progress, report on milestones, and manage deliverables.
Ensure projects adhere to healthcare data standards, including HIPAA and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Work closely with data governance teams to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in technical project management within the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Proven experience managing projects that involve Informatica tools (e.g., PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud, Data Quality) for data integration and ETL.
Experience working with healthcare data, including EHRs, claims data, or clinical data.
Strong understanding of data compliance requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare data privacy/security practices.
Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven project delivery.
Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, data governance, and data quality best practices.
Preferred
Knowledge of data architecture and data warehousing concepts within healthcare environments.
Experience interfacing with data engineering and data science teams for advanced data analytics and reporting.
Experience with other healthcare data management tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and regulatory standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
