Responsibilities

Develop and implement in conjunction with the CISO, a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all information security matters.
Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures.
Oversee remediation with all corrective actions.
Conduct annual Risk Assessment in conjunction with the CISO: Identify, assess, and prioritize information security risks; develop mitigation strategies.
Conduct threat assessments and vulnerability assessments in conjunction with the CISO to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
Develop and maintain an incident response plan; lead investigations of security breaches and ensure proper communication and remediation.
Coordinate with legal, HR, and other departments during security incidents.
Evaluate and deploy security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
Develop and implement security awareness programs for all employees to foster a culture of security.
Conduct regular training sessions on security best practices and emerging threats.
Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers.
Support third-party security practices to ensure vendor compliance.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT security
Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., SOC-2, NIST, ISO 27001) and risk management methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
