Responsibilities
Formulating plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to deal with the operation of SCI protection functions.
Assist with Staff Assistance Visits and other local inspections as required.
Prepares and presents reports with appropriate corrective actions delineated.
Participate in the management of security incidents.
Provide training and guidance on handling, safeguarding, marking classified material.
Provide continuous training and guidance in all areas of SCI security. (e.g. local procedures, OPSEC, Communications Security (COMSEC), Security Awareness).
Enforce foreign contact and travel requirements, entry procedures, escort procedures, document control procedures, and classification review/guidance requests.
Verify and provide training for requests for SCI courier authorizations; issues those certifications.
Review and maintaining documents for SCI contracts for relevant DD Form 254 information.
Acting as an SCI courier;
Managing and appointing Special Security Representatives (SSRs); and
Enforcing ICD 705 requirements.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university and five (5) years of experience related to SCI INFOSEC.
Allowable substitution - High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with at least nine (9) years of experience in SCI INFOSEC.
Five (5) years of experience in formulating plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to deal with the operation of SCI protection functions.
Assist with Staff Assistance Visits and other local inspections as required.
Prepares and presents reports with appropriate corrective actions delineated.
Participate in the management of security incidents.

Three (3) years of experience in providing continuous training and guidance in all areas of SCI security (e.g. local procedures, OPSEC, Communications Security (COMSEC), Security Awareness).
Enforce foreign contact and travel requirements, entry procedures, escort procedures, document control procedures, and classification review/guidance requests.
Verify and provide training for requests for SCI courier authorizations; issues those certifications.

One (1) year of experience acting as an SCI courier.
One (1) year of experience managing and appointing Special Security Representatives (SSRs).
One (1) year of experience enforcing ICD 705 requirements.
This position requires interfacing with senior leadership, Physical Security, and Personnel Security.
