Responsibilities
Developing work plans and evaluating proposed functional and technical design modifications to existing systems and processes.
Acting as a liaison between non-technical Program staff throughout system projects, from requirements development, technical data review, acceptance testing, implementation, through post-implementation.
Performing in-depth analysis of proposed system changes, performing multiple tasks, and working within short timeframes.
Working with staff at all levels of state government as well as contractor staff.

Candidates must meet the Minimum Qualifications as outlined in the Class Specifications.

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for a reinstatement, have list eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available).

A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is REQUIRED.
Preferred
Knowledge and experience in vendor and contract management.
Knowledge of System Development Life cycle.
Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience and ability to collaborate effectively with contractor staff, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and contract compliance.
Experience in resolving conflicts and ambiguities among stakeholders to maintain project progress.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create clear and actionable documentation.
Ability to self-motivate and work independently, take ownership of tasks, and see them through to completion.
Ability to identify and mitigate risks or issues that may arise during development cycles.
A bachelor’s degree in a Technology, Health Information Technology, or a closely related field is desired.
