Responsibilities

Lead the development and advocacy of cyberspace policies and doctrine.
Serve as the central point for cyberspace strategy within the global warfighting enterprise.
Advise the Wing Commander, Staff, and Task Forces to enhance and advance cyberspace operational capabilities.
Operate network and information systems to detect and mitigate IT and cyberspace vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the development, interpretation, and application of Federal, DOD, and Service regulations and policy relevant to the USAF cyberspace mission and operations.
Organize work, set priorities, determine goals and strategies, coordinate with other organizations, monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
Work with and interface with senior leaders in a complex classified environment.

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
This position is designated by the Air Force as a testing designated position under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program and is subject to random drug testing
Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment
Understanding of cyberspace operations in order to operate network and information systems as well as to prefect, detect and/or mitigate IT and cyberspace vulnerabilities.
Expert knowledge and experience in IT related disciplines.
Expert knowledge of and demonstrated the ability to contribute to the development, interpretation and application of Federal, DOD and Service regulations and policy, program directives and guidance materials relevant to the USAF cyberspace mission and operations
Knowledge of the USAF cyberspace mission, authorities and capabilities; equivalent information regarding the roles and responsibilities of DOD cyberspace program partners.
Extensive knowledge of DOD, AF, ACC, and 67 CW policies, processes, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, and requirements.
Ability to plan, organize, develop studies or projects and to negotiate effectively with management to accept and implement recommendations, where the proposals involve substantial resources, require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures, or may be in conflict with previous programming actions.
Extensive knowledge of management principles, and processes and analytical techniques for assessing programs and developing strategies for operational improvements and efficiencies; practical knowledge of broad financial management and resource allocation principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs.
Significant experience with and knowledge of Offensive or Defensive Cyber Mission Force Operations
Extensive experience working with and interfacing with senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to organize work, set priorities; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress and evaluate outcomes
Experience working in complex classified and compartmentalized environment
