Responsibilities
Technology specialist will need to provide support and services with related hardware, software, and network and general functionality within the distribution operations. Ability to be flexible and adjust well to changing work assignments and environments. Effective communication and organization skills as well as a keen attention to detail. The ability to make decision and change course of action based on the needs of the business
Computer Equipment – Update patches with latest drivers, system utilities and security software, improve, fix, or replace accessories
Servers – Maintain Software or computer program that serve multiple clients
Phone VoIP – Install or Update Features to the phones, replace handsets, cords etc. Create list and tracking for department and users
Work with and maintain DHCP and Active Directories support such as set up and install devices. Assist with resets for user’s log on’s.
Local and Network Printers – Maintain and Troubleshoot with replacing printheads, cartridges. Connection with TCP/IP with shared printer server
Cabling Tech assemble and arrange Cat5 cabling to and from patch panels and switches
Wireless Equipment - Maintain and Troubleshoot
Support Automation Software and Hardware. Work with maintenance to support and configure PLC cabinets also master and slave conveyor scanners
Support (RF) Radio Frequency devices such access points, mobile computers, handheld devices. Learning and support the wavelink client server licenses
Provide off-shift hours support on nights/weekends if required
Training and guidance to All WMS users
Capable of managing and executing day to day responsibilities as well as user questions/issues as they occur
Modify and update files within management system using data base utility
Create menus, configuration, support users with menu functions, work with programmers to fix job errors
Create and maintain device description on the AS400 with client sessions and printers.

Required
Associates degree of completion and considering advancing your education for future, specific skills, and interests
Experience supporting technology solutions for end users
Two year or more experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Associates SCALE preferred)
Good understanding of warehousing and physical distributions strategies and concepts
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizations
Work with vendors on root cause analysis to ensure proper utilization of technology solutions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience interfacing with corporate team members
Provide maintenance and installation support with all kinds of different equipment
Certifications CompTIA+ for troubleshooting, configure and manage wired and wireless networks also understanding technologies, including the cloud technologies
Ability to work long hours and weekends for the business needs
