Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research, identify, and qualify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and email campaigns. Develop a deep understanding of Thrive Biosciences' products and target markets to identify potential customers. Maintain a consistent and proactive approach to building a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Customer Engagement: Conduct initial outreach to prospective clients to introduce Thrive Biosciences' offerings and uncover customer needs. Schedule product demonstrations, consultations, and meetings for the field sales team. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, acting as a trusted resource for their inquiries and challenges.
Product understanding: Must be able to learn the basic core concepts, applications and commercial positioning of our products and solutions – enough for an introductory call. Must be able to accurately represent Thrive favorably and its mission statement.
Collaboration with Field Sales and Marketing Teams: Partner with field sales representatives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and support the sales cycle. Work closely with the marketing team to align efforts on lead generation campaigns, webinars, and promotional activities. Provide feedback on customer interactions and market trends to improve targeting and messaging strategies.
Sales Pipeline Management: Use CRM software to track and document all sales activities, including customer interactions, lead status, and sales metrics. Consistently meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including call volume, lead conversion rates, and revenue targets. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of competitors and industry trends to position Thrive Biosciences as a leader in the market.
Customer-Centric Approach: Act as a customer advocate by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries and connecting prospects to the appropriate resources. Ensure high customer satisfaction through personalized communication and follow-up.

Required
2+ years of experience in an inside sales or business development role, preferably in the life sciences, biotech, or technology sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and lead generation targets.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Comfort with cold calling by email, phone and other methods in high volume.
Must be able to research high value targets for efficient outreach.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience running regular cadences with multiple tools and understanding how best to get responses from a target audience.
Experience using cold and warming calling to get appointments scheduled for field sales team.

Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
