Responsibilities
Assisting colleagues with designing and implementing a variety of types of courses (asynchronous and synchronous virtual and in person; standalone, blended and academic) as well as computer training support for the EHR
Conceptualizing design and technology options, programs, and deploying them
Assisting in assessing education technology products for efficacy on an ongoing basis
Develop new education curriculum (courses, content and materials)
Translate existing content to new delivery formats and maintain all resources, courses, materials and build for the organization through Epic quarterly upgrades
Assess needs of the organization and design curriculum for instruction
Regularly attend classes, meet with instructors and review end user feedback to insure the quality of our Epic Training environment (MST) and curriculum meets the needs of our staff on an ongoing basis
Create robust patients and patient scenarios that are clinically appropriate
Build training users that align with the access points our actual staff roles
Build departments, appointment and encounters
Troubleshoot build errors after build migration
Work closely with the application team to keep our environment in sync with the Production environment
Understand the basics of eDevelopment design: script writing and basic workflow recording in Kaltura or similar beginner software platform
Project management and tracking
Management of the Epic Learning Home dashboards
Credentialing of other trainers and oversight of the creation and management of resource and support materials for end users
Serve as a performance consultant for designated areas of responsibility
Participate in department committees and one workgroup for the betterment of the team
Routine travel to other sites is required.

Required
Analyst certification or proficiency in Epic
Demonstrated skills in maintaining the master patients and other associated training environment build requirements
Experience in designing and implementing a variety of types of courses (asynchronous and synchronous virtual and in person; standalone, blended and academic)
Ability to conceptualize design and technology options, programs, and deploy them
Experience in assessing education technology products for efficacy on an ongoing basis
