Responsibilities
Contribute to early product workstreams, POCs, and prototypes using design processes and tools
Use Universal Backwards Design to storyboard and develop curriculum assets like videos, eBooks, and interactive lessons
Participate in concept meetings, review manuscripts, and create storyboards for digital content
Author digital tools, lead user testing, and mentor associate instructional designers
Manage digital build workflows through all stages of development, ensuring milestones are met
Advocate for accessibility and contribute to the product build process
Support cross-functional teams with vendor coordination, QA, troubleshooting, and technical requirements
Perform digital development tasks such as metadata tagging, concept mapping, and editing

Required
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or related field required
1 - 3 years of experience working in digital content development that includes teaching and learning materials
Experience managing multiple projects within tight deliverables and budgets
Strong ability to communicate
Some experience with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems
Some ability to create and visualize animated and interactive content
Preferred
Previous K-6 teaching experience in Literacy
Experience in instructional design or educational technology
