Responsibilities
Evaluate the full cycle of FASTC training for potential e-learning/digital projects
Provide continuous monitoring with various units and vendors to track training needs
Apply ADDIE or SAM model to training development and select optimal design and delivery modes
Manage training project teams and set appropriate milestones
Stay updated on changes in training practices to improve FASTC training
Integrate technology-based training products and collaborate with LMS providers
Assure that training development and procedures meet FLETA standards
Occasional travel may be required

Required
Master’s degree with a concentration in adult learning, education, instructional design, instructional technology, or curriculum development.
10 + years of experience designing/developing training in a law enforcement training environment including in-depth knowledge of Federal Law Enforcement Accreditation
Excellent communications skills
Specialized knowledge or professional experience in several of the following: instructional systems design, education and adult learning principles, cooperative learning, programming and authoring tools, graphic arts and media design, and educational product evaluation
Demonstrated experience working with instructional Systems Design models
Demonstrated experience with computer-based instruction design concepts and practices – including demonstration of use of Adobe Captivate, Trivantis Lectora and/or Articulate Storyline – or similar tool;
Demonstrated experience with distributed learning and multimedia insertion or similar tools
Knowledge of SCORM and 508 compliance
Must have excellent people and organizational skills
Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills to develop training course materials
Must possess excellent written and spoken command of the English language
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
