Responsibilities

Collaborate on renewal reviews with third party insurance reviewer hired by Dwight.

Respond to insurance related inquiries from third party vendor, in-house staff, borrowers, agents, and others.

Update the insurance compliance module in the company’s servicing system upon receipt of approved package from third party vendor and upon learning of changes in requirements for each property such as addition to NFIP or change in insurable value.

Save and maintain insurance records for each property.

Forward invoices for payment processing to Servicing team.

Coordinate HUD waiver processing with Asset Management team.

Make recommendations to CCO on Lender waivers for items not included in guidelines from HUD or other governing directives.

Manage remediation process for projects no longer in monitoring status by third party vendor or that have been recommended for waiver and/or lender force placement.

Send various notifications to borrowers regarding upcoming renewals and past due renewals.

Coordinate activity under Dwight’s Lender Placed coverage for noncompliant properties.

Upload new insurance review requests for changes in ownership, operator, and/or manager to our third-party reviewer system and monitor approval.

Upload insurance review requests for properties converting from construction to permanent insurance and monitor approval.

Use and or design servicing system reports to provide oversight of the third-party vendor ensuring no properties are missed in their review process.

Update insurance requirements as needed.

Identify and rectify process inefficiencies to improve workflow and reduce errors.

Perform other duties as may be assigned.
