Responsibilities
Conduct research and write opinion letters regarding insurance policy interpretation.
Advise clients on their obligations with respect to claims handling and coverage issues.
Participate in drafting pleadings and case management if involved in litigation.
Work independently and within a team environment.

Required
At least 2-5 years of experience in an insurance coverage practice
Solid understanding of insurance policy interpretation
Strong analytical skills
Strong research skills
Strong writing skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Law licensed required
Preferred
Experience as an appellate law clerk or staff attorney, or federal law clerk
North and/or South Carolina privileges preferred
Litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and participating in discovery and case management
Experience appearing for depositions and hearings
