Responsibilities
Focus on integrating different systems, applications, and software components to work together seamlessly.
Manage data transformation processes to handle EDI transactions and healthcare-specific HIPAA EDI X12 formats.
Experience with access files across Windows network environment.
Hands-on experience with Managed File Transfer solutions by Progress MoveIT Automation or GoAnywhere or comparable application.
Experience with transferring files using SFTP protocol and client applications.
Analyze rejected and queued EDI transactions and perform root cause analysis.
Knowledge and familiarity working in healthcare software integration; using EDI. XML, JSON, or other related integration protocols or interoperability toolsets.
Experience with NextGen Mirth Connect, Rhapsody or other healthcare interface engines.
Experience working in software development using Python JavaScript, .NET, or other similar languages.
Defines procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses and establishes plans to resolve system issues.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate with clients, vendors, development, and implementation teams.
Participates in gathering requirements, installing, configuring, and overseeing the implementation of assigned projects.
Design, develop, implement Structure Query Languages (SQL) databases to extract data for analysis.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work well in a team setting.
Prepares documentation of all procedures, changes, or maintenance in applications.
Diagnose and resolve issues with existing integrations, ensuring minimal downtime.
Monitor integration processes and address performance bottlenecks.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to gather requirements and ensure successful integration delivery.
Provide ad hoc written or verbal status of critical issues to management.
Demonstrated technical aptitude through strong analytical skills, problem identification and resolution, organizational skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
Responsible for the strict adherence to all Federal and State Laws, Rules and Regulations including but not limited to the following: HIPAA, HITECH, FERPA, etc. and Industry Recognized Security Standards (ex. NIST).

Required
5+ years’ experience in managing, designing, building, documenting, and troubleshooting interfaces using various tools and technologies, including NextGen Mirth Connect and MoveIT automation.
Knowledge of X12 EDI implementation and companion guides is a must.
Proficient writing scripts and code to support integration tasks in PowerShell, Python, JavaScript and .NET syntax.
Understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), JSON, XML, and related protocols.
Experience with integration platforms and middleware tools.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database lifecycle, SQL syntax, and data transformation techniques.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Handle data transformation, mapping, and ensuring data consistency across systems.
Demonstrate strong work ethic by contributing high quality work to several projects, with a willingness to be available as required outside standard hours, personal motivation, and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines within acceptable expectations.

Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and familiarity working in healthcare software integration; using HL7, EDI, FHIR, JSON, XML, or other related integration protocols or interoperability toolsets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to work under time constraints and other demands.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent program.
Minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare or health plan supporting data operations.
Minimum of five years of experience working with data interfaces.
Preferred
Experience with using Managed File Transfer applications.
Experience with NextGen Mirth Connect or similar integration engine solution.
Experience with transferring data between SFTP servers.
Experience with manipulating data formats.
Experience working in software development using Java, JavaScript, or other similar languages.
Experience working with relational databases writing SQL, Stored Procedure, and SSIS
