Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and implementation of robust, secure, scalable integrations that connect systems across n-tier platforms.
Design solutions that follow technical standards and established architectural guidelines, in cross-functional teams where you will act as the integration expert.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, enterprise and lead architects, as well as development team members to define requirements, design and define the overall solution design as well as create the technical design.
Establish the solution direction by translating the business requirements into technical requirements for the Integrations development teams.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging standards and new technologies with collaboration from the enterprise and lead architect, as well as contribution towards the Integration Reference Architecture.

Modify existing integration solutions to accommodate changes and defect resolution
Provide overall leadership in the areas of SOA Integration technologies, quality control and auditing of information, including working directly with developers and clients to resolve specific integration issues. Hands on coding may be required.
Advise on and develop connections to general infrastructure (monitoring, error handling, reporting etc.)
Provide configuration, deployment and service documentation.
Support QA and testing procedures.
Actively advise and manage expectations with management around added value of integrations solutions.
Share knowledge and experience to improve collaboration with all stakeholders.
Support onboarding process of new team members and help optimize it.
Support the integrations team to innovate and improve service delivery methods and drive the team towards continuously delivery (focusing on continuous integration, release trains etc.)

Required
Minimum proven bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have the ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team and with clients / prospective clients.
Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of attention and quality, details, correctness, and deadlines.
Must have the proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must have the ability to sit and work at a computer for extensive periods of time.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience of application integration using technology like web services, REST, JSON, queueing, managed file transfer.
Knowledge about various architectures and protocols such as MOM, XSLT, SOA, EDA, REST, XML, FTP, WSDL, and SOAP, RESTful.
Expert in SOA messaging and concepts.
Expert in service design.
Extensive knowledge about event driven systems, schema, orchestration, mapping, ESB.
Knowledge about secure transmissions (signing, encryption), digital certificates, and PKI.
Strong experience with data and information architecture and application architecture.
Proven experience with designing, testing, and implementing web-services and integrations in a Service Oriented Environment.
Thorough understanding of Application Integration and Service Oriented Architecture.
Able to explain the purpose and goals of Service Oriented Architecture and the deeper reasoning behind this architecture.
Proven experience with understanding and implementing integration patterns.
Good understanding of B2B scenarios (gateways, security, business partner agreements).
Good Interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, communication and negotiation.
Good written and verbal communication skills both in IT and business environment.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Customer focused, strong consulting skills.

Preferred
Preferably experienced in one or more of the following technologies: Axway API Management – Axway API Manager, Policy Studio and Gateway, MS BizTalk Server, Cleo Harmony managed file transfer, Azure API Management.
Experience in Financial Services industry including asset finance.
Has worked in Agile scrum methodology and teams.
Prior experience with API Management Solutions.
Experience in working with multi-location international teams.
Azure Dev Ops / Visual Studio Team Services / TFS.
