Responsibilities

Conduct studies and analyses to determine the feasibility of various advanced engineering approaches for future programs or to resolve major controversial problems in current programs.
Conduct studies on the feasibility of developing new products and/or theories pertaining to new applications of existing products.
Serve as an expert advisor for broad and complex programs that advance the state-of-the-art.
Apply a wide range of engineering and scientific principles and theories to project performance and operating characteristics.

Provide briefings to high-level government personnel

Technical Project Leadership and Acquisition Expertise
Production/Manufacturing Engineering Expertise
Maintenance Concept Engineering Expertise
Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Test and Evaluation Expertise
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band
Experience in supporting the development of products and technologies related to wireless telecommunications applying RF and mixed signal capabilities
Analyzing vendor provided designs, modeling and prediction, and compatibility with existing or proposed systems
Analyzing engineering/scientific data for use in program/project improvements, systems integration, and/or troubleshooting
Providing lifecycle systems engineering support to the acquisition process including requirements decomposition, technical planning, specification preparation, technical analyses, risk management, decision support, and acquisition milestones
