Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic financial roadmap aligned with organizational objectives in the healthcare or life sciences industry.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes.

Ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and compliance.

Maintain compliance with healthcare and life sciences regulatory requirements, including GAAP, SOX, and any applicable funding or grant guidelines.

Prepare and present financial models, performance metrics, and strategic insights to the board, investors, and leadership.

Support fundraising efforts, including grant applications, investor relations, and due diligence for potential funding rounds.

Drive M&A activity or integration, as applicable.

Assess and improve financial systems, processes, and tools to enhance operational scalability and accuracy.

Provide actionable insights using industry-specific metrics, such as cost-per-patient, revenue cycle management, or drug development cost benchmarks.
