Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map out current state value streams across different business units.

Analyze value streams to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

Work with team members to develop future state value stream maps that align with organizational goals and objectives.

Study existing standard work procedures within various departments to understand current practices and efficiencies.

Identify deviations from standard work and areas for improvement.

Assist in documenting and updating standard work procedures based on observations and analysis.

Gain knowledge of SMED principles and techniques through training and practical application.

Analyze changeover processes within manufacturing operations to reduce setup times and increase productivity.

Collaborate with teams to implement SMED techniques and standardize changeover procedures.

Utilize Lean principles and methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvement across business units.

Conduct root cause analysis to address underlying issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Work with stakeholders to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness over time.

Compile findings from value stream mapping, standard work analysis, SMED initiatives, and process improvement efforts into a comprehensive Kaizen map.

Identify key areas for improvement and prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility.

Work closely with stakeholders to develop action plans and timelines for implementation Kaizen initiatives.

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Must be able to travel 50% of the time.

Preferred

Familiarity with Lean principles and methodologies is a plus.
