Responsibilities

Identify and establish relationships with reliable Indian suppliers of generic medicines, spices, apparel, electrical equipment, and other products.

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Oversee the entire import process, from initial order placement to final delivery.

Prepare and manage necessary documentation, including customs declarations, shipping manifests, and certificates of origin.

Ensure compliance with US import regulations, quality standards, and intellectual property rights.

Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance.

Implement efficient supply chain strategies to optimize costs and minimize disruptions.

Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.

Serve as the primary point of contact for US clients, providing exceptional customer service.

Proactively address client inquiries and resolve issues.

Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients based on trust and reliability.

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging markets, and regulatory changes.

Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential product lines.
