Responsibilities

Conduct analysis and research on emerging international issues relevant to U.S. and international institutions.
Prepare briefing materials and support data management and visualization needs.
Coordinate logistics for international engagements, including organizing meetings and managing correspondence.
Build and maintain relationships with central banks, foreign finance ministries, and other official sector contacts.
Contribute to strategic priorities through research and analytical projects.
Conduct financial and statistical analysis with creativity and independent judgment.

Required

Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, international policy/affairs, or related discipline
4 years of relevant work experience (for example, Federal Reserve System or other policy institutions)
Master's in economics, finance, business administration, international policy/affairs, or related field, plus at least 2 years of relevant work experience (excluding years spent in post-graduate study)
Strong sense of collegiality and teamwork
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace

More years of experience
Prior experience with coordination and outreach with international meetings, international organizations, and central banks and other official sector institutions
Experience with U.S. interagency process related to international economic issues
Formal writing experience

Project Management: Routinely participates in projects or assignments with staff at all levels at the Board and Reserve Banks as well as other banking institutions to gather information, pose questions, and provide interpretation of regulations, policies, and procedures
Problem Solving: Works with moderate guidance and high degree of professional independence, technical authority, initiative, reliability, and maturity of judgment
Analysis: Analyzes a wide variety of complex issues and finds solutions for problems; demonstrates advanced proficiency in technical knowledge and analytical ability to interpret and solve technically complex problems
Teamwork: Ability to work well in group settings and to represent the Board interests at various working groups and committees of international organizations
