Responsibilities

Innovate, design, and develop new algorithms to improve the inference schemes within the ThousandEyes product.

Work with world class engineering and product teams to take innovations from proof of concept to production.

Required

Working towards a PhD in Computer Science (we will consider strong master’s students with research experience demonstrated through publications)

Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP, etc.)

Existing portfolio of network measurement projects (publication and/or course projects)

Expert in Python

Experience with SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Mongo, Hadoop)

Great written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge of and experience with IP geolocation techniques is a plus
