Responsibilities

Develops reports that assess the effectiveness of Company inventory investments.

Validates and publishes efforts to the master planning schedule.

Delivers budgeted backorder and sold out rates.

Reviews marketing plans against historical performance.

Uses all available data to create forecasts as accurately as possible.

Expedites anticipated orders as needed to ensure timely delivery.

Manage inventory/SKU relationships at appropriate level.

Possesses data mining skills needed for in-depth analysis of selling trends by channel.

Evaluates, Identifies, plans and executes E-Commerce opportunities not related to catalog efforts.

Re-negotiates FOB costs on large re-orders.

Required

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related or equivalent experience

3+ years demand forecasting experience; direct marketing environment field highly preferred

Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database programs, and report writing. Ability to develop and refine reporting and tracking tools

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse audience

Strong customer service orientation (internal and external)

Results oriented with good planning, organizational and time-management skills. Delivers on commitments

Knowledge of Forecast 21 software a plus

Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
