Responsibilities
Oversees the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reporting
Creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures. Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures. Recommends programs to improve the management of inventory.
Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection. Develops a program to maintain tight security over the inventory. Reconciles inventories to book records and make adjustments when necessary.
Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records. Ensures corrective measures to prevent future discrepancies
Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel
Develops all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
Conducts search to locate products within the system, as necessary
Coordinates the annual physical inventory procedures. Communicates and coordinates with customers regarding timing of physical inventories.
Implements a loss prevention program.
Plans and implements a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly handled by either dumping, salvaging, or returning to stock. Maintains records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock
Develops a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
Processes documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction
Drives cycle count program: Assigns cycle counts and follows up with associates actively involved with cycle counting to ensure timely completion. Keeps cycle count age under 14 days. Delegates cycle count duties when off. Determines the root cause of large variances. Personally performs cycle counts when necessary to ensure counts are completely within defined timeframes. Performs Ad-Hoc cycle counts requested by planners and PM's in a timely manner.
Completes and issues all necessary records and reports including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion
Coordinates with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Warehouse Supervisors to establish cut-off dates
Manages and maintains the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Manually reconciles Oracle with WMS on a regular basis.
Is trained and fully proficient in shipping and receiving in Oracle to operate as a backup for the dock when necessary
Performs duties as instructed by management

Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year supply chain experience.
Strong math and computer (Microsoft Office) skills to ensure cycle counts and inventory are accurate.
Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data and determine improvement steps.
Preferred
Prior inventory or cycle counting experience preferred.
Prior experience with a warehouse management system strongly preferred.
