Responsibilities
Research, analyze, and evaluate information to assist investigators in ongoing administrative misconduct and criminal investigations.
Query multiple law enforcement databases, applicable public records, or open-source information.
Produce written and oral products identifying analytical methodologies and models for responding to allegations of unethical practices.
Create and disseminate intelligence products, reports, financial analysis, travel patterns, and network associations.
Explain research and analysis results and recommend ways to respond to breaches in integrity or misconduct to stakeholders and/or leadership.
Prepare case briefings of investigations utilizing Power Point, Microsoft tools, etc.
Prepare reports of analysis, investigation, and other investigative products that convey the analytical findings and provide recommendations on mitigation.
Provide written recommendations to senior officials with regard to the interpretation and application of predictive analysis.
Create analytical products for investigations using analytical software, such as timelines, time event charts, theme lines, and link analysis charts.
Prepare and present briefings to senior-level officials or external stakeholders.
Collaborate with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners to exchange intelligence and collaborate on joint investigations.

Required
One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level
Researching, analyzing, and evaluating information to assist investigators in ongoing administrative misconduct and/or criminal investigations
