Responsibilities
Complete daily and monthly reporting for investors within the SLA timelines.
Perform reconciliation, root cause analysis and resolution of daily rejects or edits between Valon’s servicing platform and the investor’s expected values.
Review and remit funds to investors and clients within the SLA’s
Assist in the completion of client billing on a monthly basis
Execute and problem-solve in day-to-day operations for Investor Reporting
Collaborate with other servicing departments in building or improving cross departmental tasks.
Assist with audits by providing required documentation or research as requested.
Provide feedback on existing processes and process changes to improve efficiency of operations.
Collaborate with the Product Managers and Engineering team to successfully implement new products or improvements to existing products.
Scope upcoming changes from the GSE’s and determine impacts on system and operational processes.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
2+ years of experience in an investor reporting or finance function
Minimum 2 years of GNMA investor reporting experience
FHA/VA/RHS Experience
Familiarity with large data set analysis in Excel
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Finance or accounting degree or 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Must be available to collaborate and communicate in regularly held in-person meetings
Preferred
Experience with SQL preferred (not required, but a nice to have)
