Responsibilities

Assess and decide on change requests for our IT finance systems, ensuring they align with our IT strategy, business goals, and budget constraints. Secure the proper implementation of approved changes.

Partner with the finance team to understand their needs, define system requirements, and deploy IT solutions that enhance their processes. Lead projects from conceptualization to execution.

Provide expertise and guidance to the ERP Rebuild project, ensuring that the systems delivered meet both functional and non-functional requirements, and are seamlessly integrated into finance’s daily operations.

Oversee user requests and issues, ensuring efficient resolution by our IT support teams. Keep a close watch on the performance of the applications supporting the General Accounting & Close processes; manage escalations and liaise with IT vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring uninterrupted finance operations.

Ensure all activities adhere to Syensqo IT policies and standards, with emphasis on Cybersecurity compliance and exhaustive documentation.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT finance jobs; experience in the finance function will also be considered.

Demonstrable experience supporting SAP FI-GL and SAP FI-AA is essential.

Experience in leading IT projects.

Deep understanding of finance processes and the role of technology in enhancing these processes.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on aligning technical solutions to business objectives.

Results-oriented mindset with strong influencing skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team, in fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in interactions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Can do & Be kind attitude.

English mandatory

Preferred

Knowledge of IFRS16 solutions is desirable

Experience in S4 Hana is a plus
