Responsibilities

Develops and extends the MeF architecture. This includes developing architecture artifacts and presenting them to the MeF team and IRS stakeholders.

Provides recommendations/architectural options and solutions for migrating MeF to microservices, containers and the Cloud.

Maintains and/or creates contractual deliverables in accordance with IRS templates.

Identifies opportunities for new business with the IRS.

Provides LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs.

Provides recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Ten (10) years of experience in developing, in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors, architectures for large, complex programs.

Five (5) years of experience in leading teams of architects and/or developers.

Four (4) years of experience with modernizing complex enterprise applications, including Java applications, for the Cloud.

Four (4) years of experience with modernization of complex enterprise applications, leveraging microservices running in containers.

Four (4) years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.

Four (4) years of experience with building complex AWS GovCloud solutions.

Four (4) years of experience with developing solutions leveraging Event Driven Architecture patterns.

Four (4) years of experience with Information Security for large, highly sensitive Java applications.

Four (4) years of experience with maintaining requirements and traceability against business and application requirements for large, complex applications.

Four (4) years of experience with working within the Linux platform.

Four (4) years of experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM.

Four (4) years of experience with middleware products, including JBoss EAP, WebSphere Application Server, AMQ, Kafka and IBM MQ.

Four (4) years of experience with development of DevSecOps solutions on complex projects.

ACTIVE IRS MBI OR PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
