Responsibilities

Collaborating to build reference architecture

Documenting reference architecture: conceptual, logical and physical

Communication and mentoring of architectural landscape in-team and cross-team

Assisting engineering teams in all aspects with executing against architecture

Required

10+ years working as a professional data architect

Strong data modelling and building data contracts between producers/consumers

Experience with designing modern data pipelines (especially in the cloud space) w/ data governance

Principals and pragmatics of a medallion architecture

Lambda architecture – streaming/batch

Discipline for architecture/design documentation (conceptual, logical, physical)

Micro services approach/design

Working with data governance tooling within pipeline. I.e. Data Quality, Lineage, Cataloging, Data profiling and Observability

Designing for analytical layers for various use cases and business disciplines inclusive of AI enablement.

Financial background. Prefer knowledge in Derivatives, Cash, Finance and Banking products.

Platform-wise, strong experience in Databricks is essential to this role. We are also seeking familiarity with Snowflake, Kafka, MDM tooling, and governance related tooling.

Data Observability / SRE

Strong communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Effective presentation skills

College degree required.
